Hello fellow member. Yes, we're talking to you, the one reading the rules. We welcome you to Star Fox HQ, a forum that's all Star Fox Series related including gaming and much more to follow. If you are a newbie (n00b) then you've hit the right place to read up about the rules on this board. As we the Admins or the Mods including the head admin, we would like a well thought out community like friends chatting with one another engaging in friendly matters. Anyways now, please take some time in reading the rules, and enjoying your time here as well with us. You will enjoy the many features of this board once you get settled. If you feel that you haven't understood practically almost anything then we advise you re-read these rules.

Warning System
10% - Verbal Warning
20% - Verbal Warning
30% - 1 Day Suspension
40% - 5 Day Suspension
50% - 10 Day Suspension
60% - BANNED (depends if you come back after suspension and make a fool out of yourself)
Keep in mind that there is a rule about ban evading as this means your somehow coming back online while your still banned. Your account will then be deleted.

Staff
The administrator(s) want a well behaved and experienced staff. You must stay active, and support the board. Being inactive will result in your position being taken away. Even though you are a staff you MUST follow the rules like everyone else, warns/bans can be given to staff as well. It is also the administrator's choice whether you become a staff or not. Begging for positions will result in a Verbal Warning.


THE RULES

1) No Mature Content!
This board is meant for all ages aged 13 onwards, and because of this we cannot allow any mature content including Hentai/Pornography. Nowhere. It shouldn't be found on the board at all. If caught, you will have 50% warn, giving you a ten day suspension. After the punishment ends, you will earn a 20% taken away from your warn level which is like a small package that comes after your punishment which soon results in you getting banned again which you'll have to then start being at your best behavior. If more of the same action comes up on the forum again, the account will be deleted and the user will be IP banned to prevent any more corruptions what-so-ever. If you continue, your IP's will get reported in which you'll have to talk it out with the IP service providers.

2) SFHQ is for People Aged 13 and Up
Anyone aged 13 and over can can join. We cannot take any age younger than that because we believe it is too early for them to communicate with our forum. If you are younger than the age of 13, have a parent or guardian complete and mail or fax a signed permission form to the administrator(s) of the board before a child under the age of 13 can complete the registration process. For further information, please contact the head admin.

3) Affiliating
If you want to request an affiliate please contact the head admin.
First of all, it must follow these rules...
1) Must have a decent layout
2) Can be related to anything (Star Fox is preferred, though it doesn't really matter)
3) Must have no Hentai/Pornography anywhere in the site or forum
4) Must be rated PG-13
5) Must have our banner or button somewhere on your site or forum
6) Must be an active forum (For websites: It must be updated often)
7) Has to have a decent amount of information and content

4) Respect the Staff
This rule is extremely important to us. We hired staff for them to help us out and making SFHQ a better place. Because they are doing this, you must respect them for doing their job. If you do start to disrespect them, they will have to warn you (sometimes results in a ban or suspension). Moderators take care of the most of the warn adjustments. However, if it is that serious, you can get a seven day suspension. If you do it again after your seven day suspension, you'll be banned from SFHQ. If it becomes more serious than before, a mod will have a right to contact an admin to remove your account off the board through a deletion of it. We also don't allow backseat moding. This means we don't appreciate members acting like a staff. We employed people to do this, not regular members.

5) No Flaming or Bashing in SFHQ
Flaming in Star Fox HQ will not to be tolerate here. Most forums might not have this rule or people just like to ignore things like this rule, but here we will certainly and will not allow it here at SFHQ. (unless you are trying to be funny and prove to us you were joking) We do not accept any bashing and flaming here that can offend other people in the community and having fights without evidence (anything to back it up) We do not want any members to feel uncomfortable in SFHQ. Also, if your posts contain content that may offend members, the post(s) will be deleted. Doing this may result in a punishment by the staff whether the level adjustment will rise, or a banning may take place.

6) No Double Posting
Don't double post in a row in a topic at any circumstances (unless in spam or you are adding a new piece of work to your at topic). Use the edit button to edit your post if you made a mistake. If not, we have to merge your post and maybe a waste of time of others. You will not receive a warn with this until you constantly do it.

7) No Double Accounts
Any member is not allowed to double account. Smart people may do this so just in case they get banned on one account, they can use the other. There may be times when this happens but no one is allowed to ban evade. When you get caught double accounting, your first account you registered in SFHQ will have a four day suspension and the other(s) will get deleted. There is a way we can catch you for doing this, so remember, it is prohibited.

8) No Going off Topic
We have had this happen a lot and one of our most common habits here at SFHQ. Topics are there for a reason to talk about that particular topic not any old random stuff that is not needed. Just try your best not to do this. However, there is a place for this it is the Spam forum (IT'Z-A SPAM TIME). This is where you can post any old random thing, but it must be kept under control. If you want to talk on a straight topic, try searching for the General Forum or Serious Discussions.

9) NO TYPING LI3K TIHSR
First of all it is annoying and very frustrating to read. You have common sense and a brain we all know you do and we want you to use it. Doesn't have to be perfect but please know what you're posting before you ''click'' the submit button. We understand that these words are too short, but grammar is need to stay on the forum. Seriously, that's what the word filter ban is for though, so posting your mis-typed language may get added in.

10) Old Topics
If a topic is untouched for about 7-8 weeks, it is considered old. However, Bumping is sometimes allowed as it may still hold some more discussion in those topics. If these topics don't seem to hold no more needs in terms of discussion, be sure to let a mod or admin know so they can close it. If you continue to keep asking them even if it still does, a warn level will be increased for a few hours. Two perhaps. Don't beg the mods/admins about opening up a topic that seems pointless to us.

11) Don't Post Excessive Emotions
We understand that some members like to use emotions but to much seems kind of awkward and annoying. It's okay to use emotions in a post but in every post is too much. Be sure to limit yourself to about one or two and don't use them too much or they might get removed or the post may get deleted.
