Long plane rides are extremely entertaining if you brought some of your stuff with you. CC games and other strategy games are extremely easier due to your lack of distraction. If only I could play my PS3 on a plane! But most of my flights are only 3 hours XD.

Anyways, travelling is probably the best thing to be doing while playing Command. No pressure, no distraction.

I usually sleep on my flights.

I think Command was kinda cool. The controls took me awhile to master, but once I got the hang of it, the game became fun if kinda too easy. I felt like I was playing the same level over and over it was like: "you cleared the map of all enemies... do it again!" but the storyline was intriguing enough to keep me goin' (even if it was a lil' iffy at parts) and it was cool getting a shot at taking command of all the characters. (Lucy's ship was my fav <.<)

The final boss was crazy hard though blink.gif All those metal bars flying at me... But I'll tell ya' when you beat it, you feel like you accomplished something (unlike assault, but assault has more replay value and is just all around a more polished game)

Some of the endings were so ridiculous I chuckled, and others were so stupid I threw my DS out the window (okay, I didn't, but I wanted to) All in all though, it was a solid game that held my attention for about a week, but after beating the whole thing it's a bore. I haven't played in months... unsure.gif

You're more of a middle man, I see. In a world where it's either everyone hates Command, or 1 person likes it because he hasn't played the other Starfox's.

Well most hard-core fans just don't like it because of the story, and I say phooey to that. If I had fun playing it, it was worth my time.

That's not bad, it gave us a taste of what SF2 was like (I've never played it sad.gif)

And yeah, flying with the touch screen is cool, but my hand would start trembling after a few hours and I'd need a break...

I agree with most of that, command played exceedingly well, it was a cool new outlook on the arwing controls, and the variety was first class, most hated it for the story, but as an unbiased party, the game was stupendous.

How tricky are the controls of Command? I'm thinking of getting it, but I have a long bloody history with DS games that rely too much on touch screen controls. After a few minutes of trying to get used to it, things can get a bit personal between me and my DS...

Ah, they're not that bad actually.
You navigate the Arwing's flight by sliding the stylus left or right, (up or down for altitude change), perform a barrel roll by quickly sliding the stylus back and forth, and you press the U-Turn and Loop buttons to do U-turns and loops, surprise surprise. You can fire by pressing any button, so it's pretty basic.

Thank you. I'll give it a shot, then if you don't think they are too complicated for me to figure out. xD

You're making a good choice, I mean, as long as your not a super hardcore fan like some of us, then the story line won't phase you much, which is good.
